HGH seems to be a buzz word these days. It stands for human growth hormone, and is a substance often used in hormone replacement therapy. It also is the target of most over the counter hormone growth stimulators and precursors sold today.
Some products can be taken home and used right away for this purpose. However, injections offered to people are only available by prescription. These are given to people for a variety of reasons, including the following:

What about Healthy Adults?
The research of HGH injections on healthy adults is limited. So is the research related to stimulators and precursors sold over the counter.
What is clear is that the synthetic version therapeutic substances are used now. This is because of contamination issues related to extracting the real HGH from the brain.
