Individuals need to realize that the results which many HGH manufacturers report come from this original study which used prescription HGH. Many of the supplement forms of HGH today don’t contain prescription HGH. Rather HGH supplements fit into two categories: homeopathic and releasers.

The homeopathic of HGH supplements use a small amount of actual synthetic human growth hormone in order to increase the body’s production of natural HGH. Most of these products give you the best results of all non-prescription products. The amount of HGH that can be given without a prescription is closely monitored by the Food and Drug Administration. If a company claims to have comparable levels of prescription HGH then they are either misleading you or breaking federal law.

HGH releaser products basically contain a ‘multi-vitamin’ mix of amino acids. Typically these products have L-group amino acids such as valine and glutamine which are considered the building blocks of HGH. These ingredients still need a chemical change in order to produce HGH. Many of the cheaper HGH supplements on the market today are really just amino acid releaser products.

There are a few products on the market today that also have an ingredient that can raise the level of Insulin-like Growth Factor or IGF-1. Those in the modern medical field consider raising IGF-1 levels in the body to be the best way to increase the secretion of HGH by the pituitary gland. These growth factors are often included in the higher quality HGH supplements in order to maximize results.
